45 clients were served by the Sto. Niño Parish Caritas in a Safeguarding and Parish Legal Aid Mission last August 25, 2022. The activity was spearheaded by Poro Parish Priest Fr. Joel Bonza, MSC in collaboration with Legal Alternatives for Women Center, Inc.(LAW Center, Inc.) and the Sto. Niño Parish Pastoral Council.
Atty. Virginia Palanca-Santiago, Head of the Board of Trustees, Atty. Rhiza Jean A. Demetillo, Atty. Kristina Ginn A. Estoy and Atty. May Claudine I. Gador provided legal assistance to the parishioners for this Parish Caritas program.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
