A medical and legal mission was held simultaneously on November 10, 2022 at Cebu Caritas Building as part of the celebration of the 2nd Cebu Caritas Week 2022.
167 individuals availed of medical services by our volunteer doctors. 88 individuals also sought legal advice, and were assisted in their PhilSys ID registration, LCR registration, and notarial services by 45 lawyers from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Cebu Province and Cebu City Chapters, Law Students, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and the Cebu City Local Civil Registrar.
Cebu Caritas President Ft. Alex Cola, Jr. opened the medical and legal mission. Cebu Caritas Program Director Fr. Alden John Baran gave an orientation on Cebu Caritas to the lawyers and law students.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
