Around 300 parishioners of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Basak, Mandaue City availed of the medical mission organized by Cebu Caritas, Inc. on August 27, 2022. Health-related consultations and free medicines were offered to the beneficiaries. Two minor operations were also successfully conducted by Cebu Caritas trustee Dr. Jesus Ravanes.
Cebu Caritas volunteer doctors, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) Interns, barangay health workers, Parish Caritas volunteers, and the Parish Youth Coordinating Council joined hands to make the activity a success.
Parish Caritas Lay Coordinator Belen Lansink thanked Cebu Caritas for extending its Health Care Services to the parish through this medical mission.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
