Cebu Archdiocesan Social Advocacies (CASA) organized a build-up activity dubbed “Pakighimamat sa Mamumuo” held last November 5, 2022 at the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Basak, Mandaue City, Cebu.
CASA Staff Jon Neil Perfecio and Patrick Torres facilitated the small group discussion where representatives from the Visayas Human Development Agency (VIHDA), Alsa Kontraktwal, Balik Rota (Tricycle Drivers’ Association), and PISTON shared their current situation and struggles.
Cebu Caritas Program Director Fr. Alden John Baran attended the gathering. Some members of the Parish Caritas of Mandaue City, Basak and Paknaan-Labogon were also present in the activity which was held in preparation for the Pakighimamat sa Anawim on November 13, 2022 to cap the celebration of the 2nd Caritas Week.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
