Members of mandated organizations, the Parish Pastoral Council, and Parish Finance Council attended a Parish Caritas Orientation at the Parroquia de San Francisco de Asis in Balamban, Cebu last July 30, 2022.
Cebu Caritas Presiden Fr. Alex Cola, Jr., Cebu Caritas Communications Head Atty. Maria Jane Paredes, and Cebu Caritas Humanitarian Coordinator Benny Tan facilitated the orientation.
The activity aims to strengthen and capacitate Parish Caritas Volunteers and to instill awareness and emphasize the relevance of Parish Caritas in the life of the parish.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
