PARISH CARITAS | Cebu Caritas Team gave an update on the institutionalization of Parish Caritas in the Archdiocese of Cebu during the meeting of the Vicariate of the Immaculate Heart of Mary last May 24, 2022 at Mary’s Little Children Community Formation Center in Tungkop, Minglanilla, Cebu.
Fr. Alden John Baran, Cebu Caritas Program Director, shared the best practices of seven Parish Caritas in the archdiocese. He also pointed out the goals and objectives of Parish Caritas which would really make the Church relevant today.
Priests from the Parishes of City of Naga, Minglanilla and Talisay City were asked to implement the said program by establishing their respective Parish Caritas.
Fr. Joselito Danao, Vicar Forane, thanked Cebu Caritas for sharing an update of the Parish Caritas.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
