The Archdiocese of Cebu, represented by Cebu Caritas – Commission on Service and the Cebu Archdiocesan Social Advocacies (CASA), is one of 12 archdioceses and dioceses participating in the 3-day National Consultation-Orientation and Capacity Building on Diocesan Justice and Peace Program Establishment for the Visayas in Cebu City from Nov 21-23, 2022.
Thirty-five delegates, among them diocesan social action directors, workers, and volunteers, have signed up for this activity which aims to, among others, identify the archdioceses and dioceses that will take part in the establishment of a diocesan-level Justice and Peace Program that can address issues and concerns towards Social Transformation.
The Archdiocese of Cebu delegation is composed of (Ret.) Justice Gabriel Ingles, lawyers Fe Ortiz and Maria Jane Paredes of Cebu Caritas and Jon Neil Perfecio and Patrick Torres of CASA.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
