The San Vicente Ferrer Parish in Bato, Toledo City formally launched its Parish Caritas last September 4, 2022. Within the Holy Mass, Cebu Caritas Program Director Fr. Alden John Baran led the Rite of Commissioning of the Parish Caritas Officers and Volunteers. The Parish Caritas Office was also blessed right after the Mass.
Bato, Toledo Parish Priest Fr. Dennis Acedo thanked the volunteers for giving their time to serve the Anawim. He also encouraged his parishioners to always support the programs and services of their Parish Caritas.
Sacks of rice were distributed to indigent beneficiaries.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
