30 carpenters of Balay Caritas Project were blessed by Cebu Caritas Program Director Fr. Alden John Baran on November 29 at Parroquia de San Isidro Labrador, Cansuje, Argao, Cebu.
A Holy Mass was celebrated by Fr. Baran to mark the start of the construction of the first 10 core shelters.
After the holy mass, a contract signing was also held between the carpenters and Cebu Caritas.
Also present were Cebu Caritas Developmental Coordinator Mr. Kendrick Miñoza and Media Creatives volunteer Mr. Ggie Hermunda and Parish Caritas volunteers.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
