Three families from the Parroquia de San Francisco de Asis in Balamban, Cebu received their Certificates of Acceptance of Balay Caritas Housing Project. This was part of the celebration of the episcopacy of Most Rev. Ruben Labajo, D.D. The certificates were awarded during the thanksgiving mass held last August 23, 2022.
The beneficiaries are Primitiva Corbo, Mr. Ritchell & Mrs. Maricris Napoles; and, Jemar Baricuatro & Lesly Alicaba.
Present during the giving of certificates were Cebu Archbishop Jose Palma, Cebu Auxiliary Bishop Ruben Labajo, Cebu Vicar General Msgr. Rey Penagunda and Cebu Caritas Presiden Fr. Alex Cola, Jr.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
