300 families from Parroquia de San Isidro Labrador in Cansuje, Argao, Cebu received Bags of Love containing food items such as rice, canned goods, noodles and water on November 8, 2022 as part of the activities of the 2nd Cebu Caritas Week 2022.
The recipients included 186 Senior Citizens, 41 PWDs, 55 individuals with chronic illnesses, 322 children, 13 pregnant women and 37 lactating mothers.
The activity was made possible through the benevolence of Life Basket Foundation through Mrs. Mitzi Waga, Mr. Benjamin Waga and Mrs. Rafaela Ileto.
Cebu Caritas Humanitarian Coordinator Benny Tan and Cebu Caritas Develpmental Coordinator Kendrick Miñoza facilitated the distribution. Parish Caritas volunteers and members of Order of Scathz and Tau Gamma Phi also assisted in the distribution.
Cansuje Parish Priest Fr. Dindo Yosores thanked Life Basket Foundation for their generosity.
Cebu Caritas Inc. is the mandated social action arm of the Archdiocese of Cebu. It serves the Anawim through its Humanitarian, Developmental, and Justice and Peace programs.
